By Car: to get to Bangor from Belfast, you take the A2 road which will bring you into Bangor town centre; to get to Bangor from County Down you take the A21 which will also bring you into Bangor town centre. Click on the Google Map image below for further details. 

By Bus: to get to Bangor from Belfast (via Holywood) using Ulsterbus (operated by Translink), you can use the number 1, 1A, 1B and 2 bus services. Click Here for bus timetables.

By Rail: using the Northern Ireland Railways (operated by Translink), the journey from Belfast to Bangor town centre takes less than 30 minutes and halts from Belfast’s Great Victoria Street Station include: Botanic, City Hospital, Belfast  Central, Titanic Quarter (Odyssey/SSE Arena), Sydenham (Belfast City Airport), Holywood, Marino, Seahill, Cultra, Helen’s Bay, Carnalea, Bangor West and Bangor.
